Nick’s Guzzler

A golf ball appears on the end of the 16^th Tee last Sunday, we all know it’s a short hole but not that short (must have taken an 8 iron instead of a 6 iron) we forget Nicks not that long with his irons?

Steve (chuckling to himself) asks Nick if he is going to take a drop

off the Tee under local Rules “Yes I think I still get a Drop off the

Tee even if it’s a guzzler, god help me if Smiffy’s about with his Kodak”.

Obviously Nick did not take Steve’s advice about the local rule of

dropping off Teeing areas and played it as it lay, Oh dear, that’s a penalty under local rules, you must drop off teeing areas under no penalty but 3 pints if it’s a Guzzler and Nick is guilty in both cases.
